If those components fail due to an Installation-Related CauseA condition resulting directly from the installation, fastening, sealing, placement, or integration of the roofing system by MCAS., MCAS will repair or replace them, including associated labor, tear-off, and disposal.
This warranty applies to the original OwnerThe original property owner or an approved transferee under this warranty. and may be transferred once, provided written notice is given within ninety (90) days and the Roofing System passes inspection.
If a covered workmanship issue results in interior damage, MCAS will reimburse the lesser of the homeowner insurance deductible or $1,000.
This warranty does not cover conditions resulting from any External CauseA condition caused by factors outside of MCAS's installation, including weather events, structural movement, lack of maintenance, alterations by others, or normal aging., manufacturing defects covered by the Manufacturer Warranty, structural movement, improper maintenance, work performed by others, modifications after installation, or normal wear and aging.
